Each
of us has a calling when we come to earth. Our journey begins
with the call, the life story of every woman and every man. The
beginning and end represents vulnerability. You come into the
world a fragile and dependent being. As life evolves and becomes
more complicated, new notes are added to your personal song. You
learn independence, and ideally, interdependence in relationships
with others. As you near the end of your life, you may once again
become fragile and dependent. While here, you have your own theme
and melody, which leaves your own unique imprint on the symphony
of life. You may leave the earth with fulfillment of life well-lived
or with pain for a life left wanting.
This
song asks the question "Which will it be?"

The
feeling of freedom that comes with connecting with nature through
exercise can be lighter than air. Feelings about relationships
and gratitude may come to the surface. Relationship to the earth,
to familiar surroundings, to the sky as you take flight on a run
across the countryside. Gratitude for the burning in your chest,
the rush of endorphins as you challenge your body to move faster,
longer, or more efficiently, while breathing in the pure air that
we so often take for granted.
xx Through
movement, you experience the joy of being alive.

A
quiet voice, a voice of spirit, a voice in pain, calls out from
across the world. Like a tree falling in a forest when no one
is there. At first, no one hears-no one helps. Then through that
mysterious spirit connection which we all share, someone does
hear the voice, hears the pain and responds. First it is only
one voice connecting with another. Over time more spirits are
able to intercept the call, and join in, creating a symphony of
sound. That sound it the sound of change. Women everywhere, join
in to become stronger in the unity of helping each other change
their lives. The Quiet Voice comes from a particularly moving
segment of the Oprah Show, seeing women and children from all
over the world living an abusive life. Through those watching
that day may have never before heard the quiet voice, through
Oprah and the other women who spoke, the spirit connection was
made and others were able to hear, and respond, and ultimately,
help change lives.
And
it all began with the quiet voice.

This
song explores the reality of love and the ups and downs that leave
their mark on the heart. The poetry of love is at time, hard hitting,
and at times, soft and flowing, but is always fluid and never
static.
There
are as many different ways of loving as there are people to love.

This
song is one of hope for those who lose their way, and then find
the strength to make a new start. As we seek to reach goals, sometimes
we take one step forward and two steps back. Yet as long as we
live, there is always the hope of a new beginning.
Dedicated
to my son Robert.

Children need to know that there is hope and that they are loved.
Children with no stability in their lives stumble through life
without knowing which way to turn, or who to count on. At first,
challenges are met with frustration. Then, as children grow, they
begin gaining inner strength to get over the bumps. Those experiences
are represented in this song with a running theme that we all
can take to heart: "Please don't let life pass you by".
Dedicated
to my grand-daughter McKenzie

[Track

This
song represents the universal life experiences of people all over
the world. No matter who we are or where we live, our challenges
are similar in many ways, because we are all members of the human
family. We all feel alone at times. When we realize that we're
really never alone, that we are all connected and that God is
with us, our life take on a new meaning. Though life can be difficult,
there is a positive side to it all. Ultimately, our tribulations
cause us to become stronger. As we find meaning and faith in our
lives, we become compassionate who take nothing for granted.
We
become more appreciative people, grateful for all that life has
to offer.
